Today, we kicked off our week not with the monday blues, but with an exciting bang! We had Steve come from RockSteady come in to do an assembly for us and he wowed us with his guitar playing, drum playing and keys playing; he also taught us a whole load of new technical words to do with music.
Throughout the assembly, Steve played a load of songs that we all really enjoyed singing along to, some on the keyboards, some on the guitar. He even played us “the most famous drumbeat ever”, Queen’s “We will rock you”! Not only that, but Mr Seccombe and Mrs Levett rocked it out with Steve at the end of the assembly playing the drums and keyboards to Shotgun by George Ezra.
By the time we went to our first lesson, we were definitely excited and raring to go! What a fantastic way to start of a cold January week!
