New Intake – September 2020
Meet your teachers for Reception!
Watch this video to hear what the children think of our school and to see all the lovely things you can get up to when you start too!
As we can’t invite you into school, we have made a short video to give you a good look around. We hope both you and the children find it helpful.
As you can imagine, being in school is a little different to normal right now, but please rest assured that we are very much planning for this September’s intake, just as much as we are looking after the children we already have in school.
In light of the current situation regarding COVID-19, sadly we are unable to provide you with dates for transition events at this time.
We are currently working within the Government guidelines and receive updates at the time they are publicly released. This does mean we are unable to inform you when we will be allowed to invite the children into their classroom; however, we anticipate that this may not be until September. Should this change, then, we will, of course, be in touch with you. We know that children have different experiences of preschool and nursery, and are very aware that some children will find the separation from you difficult after this prolonged time at home. We want to make sure that our transition arrangements are adjusted to best support the children’s emotional wellbeing, as well as preparing them for their academic journey with us!
We will keep you updated every step of the way, but, in the meantime, should you have any questions or concerns about how your child might settle as a result of this unprecedented build up, please do email us, with ‘September 2020 intake’ as the subject, at [email protected]
Mrs A Henson
You should have all received an email from myself, as well as an email from ‘Evidence Me,’ asking you to confirm your link email address. Please check in your junk mail if not, and contact us if you don’t have it. We are hoping to use the platform well over the coming months.
