During his visit, Sir John spent time meeting a number of our children, including pupils from Years 5 and 6 and members of the School Council. The children took the opportunity to ask him thoughtful questions about his role as an MP and how he represents the local community.

Mr Roberts also raised the important issue of road safety in the area, asking what action is being taken and what more could be done to reduce the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph in order to help ensure the safety of our children and the wider community. We would like to thank Sir John Whittingdale for taking the time to visit our school and engage so positively with our pupils and staff.
